I hava a turntable with output and want to hook it to the port and then have the sound wireless go through ARC and ERA speakers. As I do this I do not want it to change my settings of use the ARC and the speakers for watching TV. Will this work?

No, you’d need to connect your turntable to a Sonos device that has an analog line in (I am assuming your Era’s are set up as asurrounds, in which case the line in is turned off). There is, apparently, one exception, I believe Victrola makes a turntable that connects wirelessly to Sonos.

Ah, I misread your post, apologies. Yes, this should work, the Arc will, assuming you have it turned on, will automatically switch back to the TV input when the TV is generating sound.

Thank you,

So my configuration is as follows turntable into Port. Then play a record and have the sound via WIFI go to Arc, ERA and sub speakers with out changing current configuration of TV, arc and speakers.

So in essence if I play turntable comes through speakers and if I play TV comes thru speakers without doing any additional config on phone.

Will the Port do that for me?

Yes.  Set the Port Line-In Autoplay to ‘On’ and set the Autoplay Room to the Arc room name.  Set TV Autoplay on the Arc to ‘On’.  This will play any audio on the turntable through the Port to the Arc room.  The Arc will automatically switch back to the TV source when the TV turns on.
