I know the Sonos Port is one option, but are there any other ways to make this work?

Any Sonos with an analog input will work.

Have a look out got a refurbished ERA100. Probably the cheapest option.

Keep in mind you will need the analog input device/adaptor to use either of the Eras.

FYI., If you have Era 100’s or Era 300’s used as surrounds you cannot use them to connect a turntable. When used as surrounds the Line-in and Bluetooth options are not available.

This is true of any Sonos device that is used as a surround ‘driver’. It’s the act of making it do surround duty that disables any other input.

@Airgetlam is correct regarding speakers used as surrounds. I didn’t mention it because the only other speaker(s) that have line-in capability that could be used as surrounds are the Play 5 (Gen2) and Five. Those IMO are overkill; but that’s just me. The Move and Roam portables are non-starters as they could never be used as surrounds.

The Line-in on Sonos AMP when used to power wired speakers as surrounds is deactivated as well.
