Headphones with Victrola Stream Carbon

Hello:

In my little fortress of solitude room, I have a Beam Gen2 and two Symfonisk lamps as surrounds. I currently have a tv plugged into the Beam via HDMI, and a PS5 and little media PC plugged into the tv by HDMIs to route to the Beam. I also currently have a Victrola Stream Carbon linked via Wifi to the Beam+Symfonisk room.

Assuming Sonos does add Audio Swap functionality for the Beam Gen2 (and Android) like they have said, would populating a HDMI slot on my tv with a RCA to HDMI cable deliver my turntable sound via the Audio Swap feature to the Sonos Ace? Would I need a switcher to accommodate cables from the tv and turntable into the Beam?  Are the RCA to HDMI cables or converters any good and would it affect sound or performance in any way. Is there another solution?

Thank you

In Theory that should work as it would be a selectable source via your TV. However, I’m concerned about the pre- amplification required for a turntable (i.e built-in or out-board). If that’s resolved...then once again in Theory your idea should work.

This link gives several options to accomplish your goal.
