Connecting audio-technica AT-LP60x (not bluetooth) to Move 2 and Beam 2

Most cost effective way is to get a Bluetooth transmitter for the turntable, and transmit to the move 2. But the sound quality won’t be great.

another option would be to convert turntable output to optical (toslink) via an adapter, and connect this to the beam via the optical → hdmi adapter.

or you could get any Sonos device with a line in (I have done this with an era 100) and connect the turntable to the line in on that device.

You may need to also get a preamp if the turntable doesn’t have one build in

Thank you! I’d actually ordered a bluetooth audio-technica and could never get it to pair with the Move, so I returned it. I’m leaning towards getting the era 100 since the port is so pricey!

Yes I can’t see a reason to get a port when an era 100 would do the job.

One final (dumb) question--what cord(s) would I need to connect the turntable to the era 100? Trying to order everything together so it works this weekend.

It appears that Audio-Technica AT-LP60x turntable has built in pre-amp - connect its 3.5 mm (1/8") mini-plug (male) to dual RCA (male) output cable to the below Sonos line-in audio adapter here:

You just need the line in adapter

I didn’t know the Move 2 had a line in port either! 

However, if i go that route, my move 2 is anchored into place (at least for record playing), correct? No taking it outside if it’s plugged in next to my turntable. 

I guess the only solution to keep the Move 2 actually movable is to purchase the era 100?

You could unplug the turntable intermittently to make the move 2 portable, and plug it back in later.

but obviously you wouldn’t be able to play records when you take the move 2 elsewhere
