connecting a turntable to a move 2

I have just bought a project T1 SB and have the 3.5 to USBc adaptor attached and connected to my Move 2. I can’t get any sound.   The 3.5 to USBc is an apple one, do I need the Sonos version?   That would seem very strange.    The turntable is connected straight to the Move fyi, no amp.
thank you

The turn table must have a built-in pre amp or you must purchase an outboard pre amp. You must also use the proprietary Sonos line-in adapter shown in the link

Thank you. I take it this model doesn’t behave a pre amp?

Hi @Daninbcn, on the Pro-Ject website I see that the T1 Phono SB has a built in phono stage, which is somewhat unusual and fairly nifty. There is a physical switch that allows you to select Line Out. So you can connect the T1 Phono SB to your Move 2 using the Sonos Aux Line-In Adapter.
