Autoplay 2 groups tv and line in sound drops out on tv when grouped

Hi guys. I have a room I use a a TV with surround, Beam, 2 play ones and a sub. I also have a play5 connected to a turntable. I liked to watch games with no sound and listen to vinyl on the surround. It worked great. If I put on a record the TV audio would stop and the line in would take over.

I recently upgraded my 1st gen ones with one SLs and had to re-setup the groups to do the same thing. The problem is that now the line in on the play 5 works but the added group of the TV surround keeps dropping sound and going back to the TV. Some time 5min or 7mins or 2mins. No set time but it always happens. It’s driving me nuts. Does anyone have a solution? I know it works because it did just fie before I did the upgrade.

Thank you

Hello @3rad519, welcome to Sonos Community!

Sounds like you’ve got TV Autoplay setting enabled on your Home Theater setup and it is triggering while the TV is on.

Open the Sonos App and go to Settings → System → “Name of your Home Theater" room → Under Home Theater, set TV Autoplay to disabled.

With TV Autoplay disabled though, you would need to manually change the Home Theater room source to TV when you want to get sound from TV on your Beam and Sonos One SL’s.

I hope this helps.
