How do I set up my Turntable and TV to work with AMP and ARC

Hey all!

New to Sonos and I find it a bit confusing. I went through multiple articles but I’m not able to figure this one out.

I got Audio technica turntable with preamp and an LG C2.

Currently, I have my ARC connected to my TV via ARC HDMI port and audio is working fine there however , my turntable which is connected to AMP (red and black cable to IN)  is not working.

in Sonos APP initially my ARc was set to Livingroom and amp to Livingroom2 which I thought was an issue and I tried to force it to be in the same room by renaming.
This still does not work. I tried adding surrounds to AMP as well but it does not detect ARC. What am I missing here?

Any help is greatly appreciated!

If the Amp is not bonded to the Arc and they are two separate rooms in the Sonos App, then the Turntable/Pre-Amp connected to the Amp’s line-in port should work fine. However, if the Amp is bonded to the Arc, for its speakers to be used as Home Theatre surrounds, then the Amp’s line-in port is disabled in that configuration. So the answer here is to have the Amp setup as a separate Sonos room to the Arc.

Once you are satisfied the Arc and Amp are separate Sonos rooms in the Sonos App - you may perhaps find these two links helpful too:

Really appreciate the help!
Indeed, I separated the two devices in different rooms and in browse menu in sonos app I selected both amp and arc and now it works like a charm!

Thanks Ken and Happy New Year!
