Sonos playlist folder

Hello everyone,

in my Sonos app on my Windows computer under “select a music source” I have both “music library” and also “sonos playlists”. available. I have two questions, which I hope can be addressed.

  1. The sonos playlist folder shows all of my music whereas the music library shows most but not all of my music.  Why might that be ?
  2. The Sonos app on my Ipad just shows the music library but not the sonos playlists folder. Why might that be ?
  3. Any help would be much appreciated

I’m sorry to hear that you’re missing content between devices. I’m not sure of the reason for the discrepancy between both apps, but there are some troubleshooting options we can try to get them to show. 

First, make sure the Sonos app running on the Windows computer and iPad are up to date. The Windows app can be updated through Manage → Check for Updates, while the iPad app can be updated through the App Store. Using ‘Check for Updates’ on the Windows computer will also check for speaker updates. If you’ve performed the updates and you’re still missing content, then try uninstall then reinstall both apps. Our downloads page will take you to the direct download for each device. 

If the above doesn’t help, then I’d recommend contacting our support team for further troubleshooting, as they have the necessary tools available to look into your system and see why it’s not displaying everything.
