“Pin Collections to Home” and “Save to Sonos Favourite” not working,

In the iOS Sonos app, I can’t add any folders, playlists, or favorites to the Home screen. The only sections visible on Home are “Recently Played,” “Your Source,” and “Your Service.”

Example 1: If I select an MP3 folder from my NAS and choose “Pin Collections to Home,” it shows as pinned, but it doesn’t appear on the Home screen.

Example 2: In the YouTube Music service, if I select “Save to Sonos Favorites,” it says it’s saved, but it doesn’t show up on Home. The same issue occurs with Apple Music.

Essentially, I’m stuck with just “Recently Played” on Home, with no way to customize it with playlists, favorites, folders, or albums. It’s very, very frustrating. I’m not sure if this is a known issue, but it has persisted for a long time.

Details:

• App build: 80.14.09 (release 20241209)

• Device: iPhone 13 Pro Max

Thanks for your help. For anyone having the same issue, I fixed it by deleting the app and reinstalling it.

Previously I couldn’t see the “Sonos Section” at all. I can see it now!

Hello @ahdoor, welcome to the Sonos Community!

I’m sorry to hear you are experiencing this issue where you are unable to adjust and edit the home screen of your iOS Sonos App.

I asked internally to try and reproduce the examples and issues you mentioned but they were unsuccessful.

As you can see from the screenshots below, even without content, the sections are shown properly.

Make sure your Sonos System and Sonos App are up to date,re-index the Music Library, remove and re-add the Music Services and test again.

If it’s still failing to show properly, please Submit Diagnostics and reach out to our Support Team for some live troubleshooting.

They have tools at their disposal to provide you with information and advice, specific to your system and what it reports.

I hope this helps.

I opened the Album List on Local library and tried to add it to favourites (clicking the option behind the tree dots) and got the error, “Something went wrong”

Now my new issue is if I go to Music Library —> Folders —> //MyCloud/Music, select “Pin collection to Home” for a folder in my NAS, it says the “no longer available…” from home. (My NAS is Synology)

I am unable to add a song being played as a Sonos favorite. Here’s a screenshot of the error message. This is while listening to Radio Paradise.
