My music library is stored on a NAS. The Windows 10 version of the app runs correctly and picks up the the Music Library successfully. However, I would like to be able to do the same with the SONOS app running on Android but I am unable to achieve this outcome.
I have tried several paths to no avail. Is it a question of waiting until another update is delivered.

Currently the PC/Mac app defaults to old method(s) (HTTP or SMB v1) of sharing directories that have been eliminated from the mobile apps due to security concerns. You must delete the current share and re-add your library as an SMB v2/v3 share. See this link:
Pay special attention to the “Share your music folder on the network” section, because if you just follow the defaults, you aren’t going to succeed. Follow the steps exactly as described in the link(s).
