Hi All

I am trying to set up the newest (1.5) Stream What You Hear app as a radio station in “Tune In” on the Sonos app.  I know it can work because I have it set up in another residence.

However, the latest version of SWYH doesn't offer any of the operational settings described here, at least that I can locate: https://www.howtogeek.com/292842/how-to-stream-any-audio-from-your-pc-to-a-sonos-player/

  1. Does anyone know the correct streaming URL for the latest version of SWYH to create a new radio station on “Tune In?"?
  2. Does anyone have an updated source of setup instructions for SWYH 1.5?  The web site itself is of no use.
  3. Am I simply doing something wrong procedurally?                                                              With thanks in advance, Matteo

Hi All,

I figured out the problem and am adding this to the knowledge base, FWIW.

On Windows 10, anyway, the instructions to right-click on the SWYH app in the taskbar is incorrect. Instead, what you need to do is mouse over to the lower right-hand corner of the screen and click on the arrow/ upward-facing carat that, when you mouse over it, reads “Show Hidden Icons”.

There, among the hidden icons you will see the SWYH app.  Right-click on THAT and you will see the drop-down list described here: https://www.howtogeek.com/292842/how-to-stream-any-audio-from-your-pc-to-a-sonos-player/

Now you can follow those instructions, which will work perfectly.
