music stops playing after 2 min

When I start playing music a circular ring begins to animate around the pause icon and after it completes a full circle the music stops. This is obviously some sort of timer function that I never turned on and don’t know how to turn it off. Does anyone know what this is?

The ring tells you how much of the song is left. If you swipe up to view the full screen view you will see the time left is the same as the circle.

One possible reason for this behaviour is that the track(s) might be encoded in a way that Sonos can’t play (properly).

For example, I’ve found that the system cannot play FLAC encoded at 32-bit depth (only up to 24-bit is supported) but if you play a track with 32-bit depth it will still try to play it. The results can be unpredictable - often only playing part of the track.

Thanks. I feel stupid for not realizing what the icon meant. Seems obvious now. So the real issue is that the playing stops after the song is over and it won’t automatically go to next song in queue/playlist. The music is a Sonos playlist.
