SONOS App will not open

I cannot get the Sonos App to open on my android phone.  I have unistalled, restarted my phone, reinstalled and still it sits at the opening black Sonos screen and goes no further.  I have uninstalled the app again, turned the phone off, restarted, reinstalled the app and still it does not work.

Any suggestions?  I just want to be able to connect my Sonos One SL to the new WIFI connection.  Currently on Android Oxygen OS 11.1.10.10.AC01BA

Hi @G42

Welcome to the Sonos Community!

Sorry to hear that you are having trouble opening the Sonos app on your Android app.

We are aware of this issue affecting certain non-standard versions of Android (such as is found on Oppo, Realme and Xiomi devices) and are investigating, but we have no estimate for when a resolution might be put in place.

Some customers have found that it helps to force-close the Sonos app and then reboot the Android device.

If this does not help, we can only recommend using another controller until a fix is in place.

I hope this helps.

What has  Sonos Support said, when you called in to discuss it?
