YouTube Music

With the forthcoming (reported to be late 2020) demise of Google Play Musoc, is there an intention for Sonos to support YouTube Music free version?

If this has not already been considered, how do I ask that it is?

Many thanks,

Ben

You would contact the folks at YouTube music. They’re the ones who can make that happen. Sonos legally can’t add anyone they want, it has to be initiated from the outside company. See the Sonos partners page

Great!

You can now get a free YouTube Music plan from the Sonos app!

You can play the songs you have uploaded to YouTube Music!

I couldn't do that when I tried it last week.

….but can you see all of your music?

e.g. select Albums - how far through the alphabet does it go?

Oops ... Certainly only part of it is displayed.

It needs improvement.

However, my playlist with all the uploaded songs was displayed. Artists that were not included in the display can also be opened by entering them from the search screen.

It's a display issue and seems to be working properly as a database.

We have to wait for improvement, but if we make a playlist, it seems that we can use YouTube Music free plan mode.
