Will the Roam 2 Sonos Voice Assistant work with cellular only? I thought that only Alexa required wifi. I’m trying to use the Roam 2 hands-free with the Sonos Voice Assistant on my bike while on the trail. The voice assistant light is on, but the Roam 2 will not respond to commands. I am able to use the voice assistant fine while at the house with wifi.

I think if you start playing a playlist/album from your chosen music App initially begin playback on the Bluetooth linked mobile device, you can then use SVC to pause/stop/play/skip tracks etc. and also adjust/mute the volume. See if that perhaps works for you.

Thanks Ken, you are correct. I tried what you suggested and it worked. In Bluetooth mode, SVC commands are very limited. SVC cannot start or switch between music providers or stations while on Bluetooth as this article describes:

However, I should be able to adequately use the Roam 2 hands-free while on my bike.
