Sonos Roam - how to prevent others from connecting to it

I brought my Sonos Roam to the hotel I’ll be at for 2 weeks. The wi-fi here doesn’t require a login.  How can I prevent others (who are on the same wi-fi) from connecting to my Roam? It has already happened three times .. including once in the middle of the night when my white noise was interrupted by someone’s dance music (!).

I certainly would. That is how everyone else is accessing it. Instead, as GuitarSuperstar suggests, use the Bluetooth connection to it, which will restrict it to just your phone.

When a Sonos device is on a WiFi network, anyone on that network can ‘see’ and play to any Sonos device.

Did you set up the Roam on the hotel’s WiFi or are you just connecting to it over Bluetooth?

It is set up on the hotel’s wi-fi. Should I remove that “network” ?

Thank you both very much - I removed it from the network.

I’ll blame the jet lag for not realizing that was the issue :-)
