I used to be able to listen to Spotify, Netflix, etc., on a single Sonos speaker and then connect to additional speakers with the Sonos App. I would initiate the listening session with my iPhone 15, or a Macbook Air. Once I selected other speakers, they would all play whatever was currently playing. But since the last major downgrade to the Sonos App, whenever I select additional speakers via the Sonos App, the speakers go silent. I can only select multiple speakers after selecting a music streaming service via the Sonos App.
The only work around that I found was to walk to each additional speaker and press the play button until the currently streaming service is heard.
Is this Sonos App issue going to ever be resolved or is there some other solution? I cannot see any Sonos groups available in Airplay from either an iPhone or a Macbook. And the Sonos App only allows you to stream music to multiple speakers if the streaming service is initiated from the Sonos App. And I can’t very well add Netflix or YouTube TV to the Sonos App as a service.
