Using the beam and sub with no wifi for TV audio?

I am moving to a rural area with my sonos system with less than 1mbps. Everywhere it talks about needing internet for playing music from phone or devices. I want to know, if I use a modem/router to connect the beam and subwoofer and connect the beam to a tv via hdmi arc, will it play the audio on the tv? If I were to watch blu-ray movies and whatnot? Or does the sonos require a constant internet connection to function at all?

It should be fine with TV audio over its HDMI-ARC connection. The internet connection is needed mostly for device setup, any updates and for streaming online audio services. I can’t think of any reason why your TV audio wouldn’t work with your proposed setup.
