I'll contact after-sales in the evening to check, but I'd like to consult the community if you're having this problem.

my product is era 100, android sonos app volume control still has a 5 second delay, is it fixed? my app/system has updated. help!!!

there is a sonos reply: https://shorturl.at/fI6KC

but it's 4 month ago, i don't know if you fixed it.

Note that I don't think it's a wifi network issue, as my streaming music playback, pause, and resume functions are instantaneous. It's just volume control delay

Hi @god bless

Welcome to the Sonos Community!

Sorry to hear of this issue you are having with the volume control being slow to take effect on your system.

I am only aware of an existing issue along these lines that affects older players, not Era 100s.

So, I am left to conclude that there may be a communication issue between the app and the speakers (though the fact that other actions are not delayed is certainly puzzling). Nick’s response that you linked to suggests that volume control uses more bandwidth than other controls, so perhaps we are on the right track.

I have no proof of that, however, so I recommend you get in touch with our technical support team who have tools at their disposal that will allow them to give you advice specific to your Sonos system and what it reports.

I hope this helps.
