so I have an ongoing problem with a Era 100 stereo pair - they just disappear from the app for a period of time. The interesting thing is that you look into a lot of reports of this problem, it’s always right speaker that is causing it, it crashes out taking the pair with it.
if you unpair and make the left the right, when it crashes out, it’s still the right speaker in the pair doing it which eliminates the idea it is the physical unit but something in the Sonos software.
Tried on three clean networks using Asus, net gear and now UniFi - occurs on all.
The other interesting thing is looking at network logs, it’s not disconnecting from the network and still sending traffic but to do what is unknown.
Anyone aware of what is causing this or if Sonos is aware - it does not feel it can be fixed on the user side or by the pointless network voodoo that people here suggest (“retuning to channel 666 while on one leg fixed it for me”).
