Music Library Issues - feedback

Thank you for the feedback, it is much appreciated. Please have a look below in regards to the things you’ve mentioned:

1. Why is there no grid view of my albums? A grid view looks so much better that this list view.  Maybe you can ask Apple how they get the grid view in Apple Music if you are unsure of what needs to be done to achieve this.
2. Still no alphabet at the side to allow me to jump to say, my Yahoo album.  It’s painstaking to scroll through an entire list to get to an album close to the end of the list.

There is a grid view for the Sonos App but only for bigger screens such as tablets. In regards to these two points, I’ve marked this thread as a feature request and forwarded it to the appropriate teams for consideration.

3. Compilation albums are appearing as individual songs in album view.  Many of my albums are compilation and this is unacceptable.  This issue was addressed to an extent, but some compilation albums are still appearing as individual songs.  Don’t tell me to change by ID tags because the same files displayed well previously in Sonos and displays correctly in Apple Music and iBroadcast at present.

I use an iPad but am not seeing the grid view. Looked in settings but can’t see a way to alter it.

Thank you for your response.

Regarding the grid view on bigger screens, I use the latest iPad Mini but I am unable to get a grid view.   I also use the iBroadcast and Apple Music apps and have no issues with getting a grid view on my tablet. In any event, I appreciate your forwarding my request to the relevant teams.

Regarding the display of my compilation albums, I already use Artist Album but that hasn’t helped me.  I have hundreds of albums and I don’t want to get into changing ID tags because the same files worked on your older app and because they display properly on the iBroadcast and Apple Music apps.  So it’s clearly something that Sonos needs to address.

I hope Sonos can address these issues sooner rather than later.
