why can’t Sonos give us back the old App?

The new app is broken, they know it. So why not do the right thing and give us back the one that worked?  This one a pile of excrement, and has very little that does function correctly. is the new app punishment ?

I am so glad I dragged my feet. I have too much invested in Sonos, but that’s it- why should I suffer when I can get good Bluetooth speakers for a fraction of the cost?  I want to use MY library on MY speakers on MY wifi without an info sucking vampire spy, and having to be tethered to the greater internet.  Why is SONOS up in my shot screwing up my experience for a hot mess of a garbage UI that is confusing to use and broken? 
 

SONOS screwed it up big time. They are gonna have to do something big to keep my business. I LOVE THE HARDWARE. So well built. But the software? What a dumpster fire of unecessary unasked for unwanted obstacles to listening. 
 

Anyone want a couple older SONOS Play 5, and a PLAY 1 for cheap? JBL is looking pretty good right now.
