Is there a way to remove line in option from the available sources? I have many amps with nothing plugged into the line in port, it’s confusing for other users (parents).

No there isn’t, but it’s a good suggestion to suppress the menu item if there are no Line-In sources available.

How does one suppress the item?

That’s my point. You can’t.

Yea,  I would second (or 3rd?) that suggestion.  Really, would be nice to nice if you could remove and name your aux and TV sources, as well as reorder all your sources as you wish.  I don’t like having to scroll down for commonly used sources.
