It suddenly stopped working just couple of days ago. Isn’t the latest version compatible?

Hi @Gimletmadz.

Welcome again, thank you for reaching back to Sonos Community and providing the diagnostic report.

We notice that the original remote your using was turn into an RF (Radio Frequency remote) and not IR (InfraRed remote).

To fix this you need to contact Samsung and ask them how to program the remote to IR again.

The previous update with Samsung might trigger your remote to back to its default setup.

Let us know if it works. If you need help with any other information, please be sure to let us know.

Thank you! I have tried to set up the remote again several times.

the best guess I can think of is that my Beam has been automatic updated with new firmware that isn’t compatible with my Samsung remote.

Hi @Gimletmadz.

Welcome, thank you for reaching back to Sonos Community.

Can you also try different remote any remote that is IR will do.

Let me check your network and Sonos system also.

Can you submit a diagnostic report from your Sonos system and reply back with your confirmation number?

If you need help with any other information, please be sure to let us know.

Thank you very much. I found a page on Google (in Swedish) that helped me program the remote back to IR https://support.sonos.com/s/article/3444?language=sv
