I’ve just bought a Sonos 5, but I can’t seem to pair it to my Bluetooth turntable. When I press the Bluetooth search button at the back, it doesn’t chime and the light doesn’t flash blue, it only flashes red.

Yep there’s no Bluetooth on a Play:5/Sonos Five. If the TT has an RCA line-out connection, then use that to connect it to the Play:5/Sonos Five’s line-in instead.

I’m a tad confused, as the Sonos Five doesn’t have a Bluetooth antenna in it. You’d need to connect a Bluetooth receiver to the Five’s line in.

+21Or consider replacing the Five with an ERA 300 which does have a Bluetooth receiver.
