Adding speakers with no amp

2014 living in a camper:

Bought a Play-bar, sub, 2) Play 1, Play 5

2019 bought a house and added a Beam

I now want to add a bar, sub, and 2) Play 1 to have a whole house sound system

House is only 1,120 sq ft and I currently have no delay/echo issues

Should it be simple to add as I have done in the past?
Purchase, plug, play?

Thank you!

Travis

You will run into a problem with the Play:5 (Gen 1). It is only compatible with the S1 app. The newer sound bars like the Arc, Beam (Gen 2), and Ray require using the S2 app. So if you purchase one of these models, you won’t be able to use the Play:5 together with the new speakers. It will have to be used separately. Read more here:

I suggest using the Sonos Upgrade Program and use the Play:5 to get 30% off a new Five (or any other new speaker). This would allow you to use all of your Sonos devices, new and old (minus the Play:5), together on the S2 app.

Thank you so much for the info and links!!!

Also from reading the links I went to my login to see what I actually have currently:

Gen 1 Beam

Playbar

Gen 2 Play 5

2) Play 1

Gen 2 Sub

So it appears that if drunk me decides to order an additional bar, sub, 2) play ones sober me might have to do a little work but overall it should be a success.

I will say that I am proud of drunk me for doing a little research before just placing an order.

Thanks again @GuitarSuperstar !!!!!!!!
