I already have 2 sonos one gen 2's as stereo pair and now considering buying only 1 sonos five as a backyard speaker..Is 1 sonos five enough to give better performance then 2 sonos one's g2?..im getting bored unplugging my sonos ones from my home theater setup..

Most people would say two Ones sound a little better than one Five primarily because of the stereo separation you get when you pair them. Although a Five still sounds great and is Sonos’ best-sounding single speaker IMO.

Thanks heaps for the enlightment..i might give a sonos five a go today..

Another benefit of the Five is it has a 3.5 mm line in jack where you can connect a turntable, CD player, projector, or other device and play the audio through all of your Sonos speakers.
