This article will give you an overview over the  System Settings.

We will show you where to find the settings and give you a short explanation what the setting does.

System Settings

Tab the Manage option in the title bar to access the System Settings:

About My System

Displays detailed information about yoursystem and all the products registered to your account, like serial numbers and IP addresses. Additionally, you can check Sonos app details, like version and Sonos OS numbers.

 

Alarms
Set an alarm to automatically play content at a specified time in a room or room group. Select Alarms or select to set or edit an alarm.

 

Groups
Create preset groups to quickly play audio to multiple rooms and products.

 

Network
Switch your Sonos system to a different wireless network, or, if you have a product wired to your router, you can change your system’s wireless channel to reduce interference.

 

Parental Controls
Restrict access to explicit content.

 

System Name
Enter a new name for your system. The system name displays at the top of Home.

 

System Updates
Select Check for Updates to manually download the latest Sonos software. Enable Update Automatically and schedule updates in the background so your listening experience is never interrupted.

 

Voice Assistants
Set up a voice assistant, like Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant, or SonosVoice Control for hands-free listening and system control. Learn more about Sonos Voice Control

 

Transfer System Ownership

Use this option to transfer your system to a different Sonos ID.
