The Now Playing screen is very similar to the Now Playing screen from the S1/S2 app.

It displays the audio currently being played, the progression of the audio selection, the source of the audio, the music queue, and the options to pause/play, skip, replay, or add the audio selection to Sonos favorites.

Below you'll find an overview of the features on the Now Playing screen:

Content Information - See information about your current listening session and the service content is playing from.

 

Contextual Controls - Favorite, like or dislike content here. Tapping the heart icon will save content as favorite.

 

Spatial audio badge - It shows information about the audio format or other content attribution (when available).

 

Playback Controls - These controls allow you to Pause, Play next, Play previous, Shuffle, Loop, Skip forward, and Skip back.

 

Volume control slider - Adjust the volume of the product,room, or group you're currently targeting.

 

Playing Queue - Add, remove, and reorganize the songs coming up next. You can also save the queue as a playlist in your SonosFavorites.

Additional Controls - adjust playback,save content, set a sleep timer, and more. Note: Controls are available based on content and service.

 

Room/Group - Shows the group you're currently targeting. Select to start or edit a group.

 

 

If you are playing on a home theater group the Now Playing screen will show additional controls for Night Mode, Mute and Speech Enhancement.
