I have ten Sonos speakers in two homes and they have become nothing more than bricks. I now listen to music on my crappy Android because trying to control Sonos is utterly impossible. The software just does not work any more. It takes three minutes to load and connect and then pause takes five more minutes. Yes I have tried switching channels and reboot my router on a daily basis because I own your *** products.

It wasn't like this five years ago. What went wrong ?

Looking at your profile this has been an ongoing issue for you for over a year.

Did you ever speak to Sonos support, as suggested a while back?

Did you try any of the suggestions put forward before now?

Fix your local network.

It’s your network…plain and simple.

Are you using extenders either your own or provided by your ISP?

Are you using a Sonos Bridge?

Are there any VPN’s installed on your network or your device?

Are you using plug-in network extenders?

Have you tried setting static/ reserved IP addresses for your Sonos devices?

Are all your Sonos devices running on S2 or S1?

If still using the Gen 1 Play Five it requires Sonos S1.

BTW, just because it’s occurring in both your homes only means that both networks are in need of repair. There’s a lot to unpack regarding your issue so please answer the questions.
