I have a Denon AVR-S650H receiver which has wifi/bluetooth capabilities. Can my Sonos Play 5 Gen 1 connect to this receiver via wifi/bluetooth without additional hardware? Trying to connect as rear channel speakers with no success. I do not want to connect via cables or cords to the receiver. My research efforts found that I may need the SONOS AMP

This will not work. You cannot connect a Sonos device wirelessly to a non-Sonos device. This also goes for the Amp.
