Sonos One Stops Responding to Volume Adjustments Entirely

I have a single Sonos One that, randomly stops reacting to volume adjustments from either the App or the Touch buttons on the speaker itself.  Re-powering the speaker works for a period of time but it fails again at some point.

I have a boost which I have re-powered as well.  I have 13 devices in my system don’t seem to have issues with the others.

Any ideas?

Hi again

I now found out what triggers the issue with low volume on my Sonos speakers. (See my prevoius reply from 3 days ago in this thread for the detailed symptoms)

It got triggered by a status broadcast from the google assistent when my washing machine and/or dryer is completing their job.

By disabling the broadcast feature for the washing machine and dryer in my google home settings, the Sonos volume issue has stopped. 👌 This is a good temporarily solution for now.

Hopefully this observation helps others too.  :-)

Best regards

Jesper

Certainly hope people have documented this, by submitting a diagnostic and calling in, so Sonos has a better chance of tracking this down and fixing it.

Interesting, I hadn’t considered a ‘duck’ command from Google Assistant.
