I have 2 sonos devices.  We recently changed our wifi network.  When we re-linked all of our devices including sonos devices the volume control from google assistant no longer works.  You can put music on and turn it off. But all volume controls including sonos via tv will not work.  As you can imagine, all software updates have been done for sonos, google assistant already.

Hi @BTrotta, welcome to the Sonos Community!

I’m sorry to hear that Google Assistant isn’t working correctly on your system.

Google have a few different options for controlling volume listed on their basic playback controls page, which are:

  • Increase: "Turn it up." (Increases volume by 10%).
  • Decrease: "Turn it down." (Decreases volume by 10%).
  • Set a level: "Volume 5."
  • Set a percentage: "Volume to 65%."

Do any of these commands allow you to change the volume, such as specifying a volume percentage, or do none of these options work? If none of them work, I’d recommend removing and re-adding Google Assistant to your system by first; removing Sonos from the Google App, removing the Google Assistance voice service from the Sonos app, then adding Google Assistant to the Sonos app.

I hope this helps!
