I'm experiencing a critical issue with the SmartThings integration on my Sonos Roam Gen 1 that appears to have been caused by a recent Sonos update.
Issue Description:
For months, I've been using a SmartThings automation to play white noise on my Roam Gen 1 using the 'play favorite item' action (typing the exact Sonos Playlist). This worked flawlessly until a recent Sonos update. Now, when the SmartThings automation triggers, no audio plays on the Roam. The integration appears to be completely broken.
Troubleshooting Done:
- Contacted Samsung SmartThings support
- Samsung confirmed no changes were made on their end
- Samsung advised me to reach out to Sonos as the issue appears to be on the Sonos side
- The problem started immediately after a recent Sonos software update
