Can anybody list any viable option to connect the beam gen 2 to a ps5 and monitor combo without earc because monitors do not have it. I know vroom sells a 500 dollar audio extractor but there has to be another way?
And how about using a usb c Bluetooth rtx adapter with apt x? Would that allow the era 100 and 300 to connect to ps5? Can anyone confirm this?

No, that wouldn’t work. The Sonos Beam is looking for an ARC/eARC connection, not a Bluetooth connection.
Sonos provides an adapter that transfers an optical connection to ARC, you could potentially get a relatively inexpensive HDMI switch that has an optical output, which would move the audio signal to optical, which you would feed to the Sonos adapter, and hence the Beam. You would lose any Atmos capability, though, since that can’t be carried across an optical connection, there isn’t enough bandwidth.

+18What about the HDFury Arcana? That could change normal HDMI out of the PS5 to eARC I suppose. I remember it does need to be set up with an ARC capable TV first.
Edit: it seems the PS5 only has one HDMI port, that is needed for your monitor of course.

If you’re ignoring the Beam altogether, yes. But you won’t be getting a home theater signal, only a stereo one. You could at that point ‘group’ the Beam and have it play the same thing, also in stereo, but if the Era speakers are set up as surrounds to the Beam, the Bluetooth function (and line in) is turned off.
