I inherited a SONOS sound system when I bought my house. All was working until I swapped Internet Provider. I downloaded the latest Sonos app from Apple Store but cannot connect multiple speakers wirelessly. Would my Play 1 model speakers be incompatible with the app? OK you are basically there if you have connected one speaker via Ethernet and it’s working. Please confirm that that speaker has any Sonos playlists, music services etc that you had created / added.
If that is the case, you have temporarily set up as a wired setup. That is not a problem. Please confirm which Sonos devices you own so that we can give the best advice.

I have two Play 1 speakers. Recently changed internet providers and cannot change them to the new provider. Help, please.
You are posting to an old topic with a different problem.
Still try setting your SSID and Passphrase to the same as your old provider’s.

Keep your playlists in Spotify like a normal person.. I just messed with the system for hours trying to change network to see the speakers add and disappear.. it’s dumb. Sonos better have a financial play for not just telling you to factory reset, factory reset, factory reset.. it takes slightly longer than the network change feature, but importantly, it actually works.. I’m going to be factory resetting all over this Sonos world
I disagree. Factory Reset creates a lot of extra work and rarely cures fundamental issues, although it sometimes results in temporary improvement.
I don’t use SPOTIFY much. Therefore SPOTIFY playlists are useless for me.
I’m worry free after a factory reset. I’m still waiting for a real reason beyond it might not work, when it does, for not factory resetting. Surely there’s loads more cash in selling saas music, so that I could understand. The rest seems unnecessarily complicated. Changing your ssid to fit what was previously there and crossing your fingers, adding three rooms to see them vanish, try again(after multiple attempts where it seems to be working). Then getting through 4 and exiting, seeing them leave yet again, waiting for the add wizard to think…. Memorizing all the unit passwords after so many attempts.. apologies for the Spotify comment, it was plain rude. Just so many battered wives on this thread, gotta shake you a little to get you out of the cycle of abuse. Resets here and in life are necessary
