Move and play 3

Anyone know if a move can play in sync alongside 2 play 3's in the same room?

Grouping rooms and saving a group are two different things. You need to group the two rooms, not save a group. Follow the instructions in this article under “Group rooms”:

Yup; use the “Group” feature. I think it has to be on the wifi network with the other speakers.

That’s to use the “Group Everywhere”; if you only have two rooms you just group the two of them. Just select the “circle” beside the second room.

You only have two rooms: bedroom and kitchen. Kitchen is a stereo-pair but still only one room with two speakers associated with it. The “?” In “L+?” means the app has lost connection with the right-hand speaker of the pair.

The Groups feature you’ve shown, greyed out, is for setting any semi-permanent groups. The other option is when you have a room selected in the controller app. Touch the symbol to the right of the volume slider and your rooms will appear, with the selection circles I mentioned in an earlier post. You’ll also have access to independent volume controls for your rooms.
