I would be interested to know once you got era300 setup as surrounds, what does the music sound like when you set your system to “full” when on playback. Do you still spatial audio from Apple Music?

Hi @Klikktiger

Welcome to the Sonos Community!

You can play Apple Music Spatial Audio through the Arc without Era 300s, so yes, you still get it even when the Era 300s are bonded as surrounds to the Arc (Apple Music spatial audio was made available on Sonos at the same time Era was released, which is the only reason you couldn’t play it on Arc before).

The effect will of course be more pronounced and enveloping. Each Era 300 has 6 drivers, and the Arc has 11. That makes 23 speakers in total - but that’s only assuming you don’t add Subs, which would be 2 more each (you can add two Subs, as long as one is a Sub Gen 3).

I hope this helps.
