Have the S2 app on an iPad and iPhone. iPhone looses the height setting on my ERA 300’s and the Sub Audio setting on sub-mini multiple times per day. 300’s are a stereo pair with the sub mini. The settings stay as set on my iPad. What causes that? All things are updated.

You’re not losing the height setting on the iPad?

Troubling, since the data is stored on the speakers, and not the controller on either the iPhone or the iPad. It suggests a communication issue between your Sonos and the controller. And a fairly small one, at that, with just that data being ‘lost’, I’m not sure where to recommend you look.

I think your best bet would be to submit a system diagnostic within 10 minutes of experiencing this problem from both devices and call Sonos Support to discuss it. Don’t post the resulting diagnostic numbers here, they get sensitive about GDPR.

There may be information included in the diagnostic that will help Sonos pinpoint the issue and help you find a solution.

When you speak directly to the Support staff, they have tools at their disposal that will allow them to give you advice specific to your network and Sonos system.

If I understand you correctly, the system does not lose the settings (as the post title says), but they are no longer shown in the app on your phone (but still in the app on your iPad)? Or do your really hear a difference?
