Era 100 stereo pair line in sound issue

Hi. Just bought the line in adaptor from Sonos and connected to my audio technica AT-LP3XBT. Sound playing straightaway but the sound is dropping in and out from the right speaker (the one not connected with line in).

Stereo pair set up and plays fine with Bluetooth from turntable.

Any idea what could be causing this please ?

thanks

Check your connections, 3.5 in particular to insure they are fully seated.

Thanks for your reply. Have checked and all appear to be secure. I’m guessing it is definitely cable related even though the speaker having issues is the one not directly connected ?

Dunno, sounds more like a level of wifi interference to me. A line in signal is generally ‘denser’ than a Bluetooth (compressed normally) signal. If the seating/cabling has been looked at and is correct, then I’d look at that.

Thanks. I did think that and had a look but as the “pair” work fine using Bluetooth from turntable and phone I’m confused why they would now be having issues.

Think I’ve solved it. Was the cable. Just dug another old RCA to 3.5mm out and tried that and works fine now 👍🏻.

Bluetooth, by its nature, is a ‘compressed’ format, a direct line in would normally sound better, depending on your ears. But I’m glad you tracked it down with help from @Stanley_4
