Era 100 Spotify not playing

When I go to play Spotify on my era 100 I press the play button and it's skips through song like you are mashing the skip button. It stops after 10 seconds then will just not play any sound but is playing the song. Within the sonos app it also does this but instead afterwards it just don't not play, as it the play button does nothing. I have a strong internet connection, I've reset the speaker, reinstalled both Spotify and the sonos app. I've restarted my router. I've re linked the Spotify app to sonos. I am stumped.

In spite of your “strong internet connection” SONOS is struggling with its connection to SPOTIFY. This could be due to an issue on your local network or the external Internet. Can you play other music services?

Give us more detail about your SONOS system, local network, and Internet connection.

I can play sonos radio, its seems to be just a spotify issue. The era 100 is in immediate sight of the router with 150mbps download. I have also tried it in various location around the house.

If you are playing SPOTIFY lossless audio, back off to a lower bit rate.

Yes this seems to be the issue. When playing on any other quality than lossless it works. How can I make lossless work? It did in the past.

In the Community we don’t have access to your details. I suggest that you submit a diagnostic while SPOTIFY is working OK and again after a lossless fail then contact SONOS phone support. Local and external communication issues leave tracks in the diagnostics.

What is your country? I have no proof, but I suspect that there could be different SPOTIFY versions by country and one version could have an issue with lossless. Music service updates tend to roll out over a period. You could be temporarily stuck with a defective version while others have an updated, working version.
