Hello 👋🏼…

I have a problem here that I can’t solve ..

as I connect my era 100 as surround to my arc ultra … as the app tell me to choose witch one makes the sound to select it as right or left surround … after completing and successfully saves the surrounds .. the don’t play … instead they are at the system as arc ultra not registered x 2

I deleted the app and reinstall it .. I did factory reset the eras over 5 times.. I reset the network .. I did everything .. and nothing works .. when I reset to factory and put them again to my system they work as standalone or as a pair just fine … but not as surround set for the arc ultra ..: need help here plz !!!

As you’ve discovered, Factory Reset causes a lot of extra work and, while it may accidentally work around an issue, it does not often resolve fundamental issues.

Have you rebooted the ARC ULTRA?

I’m not exactly sure what you are describing. You should initially add the 100’s to the system as individual speakers, do not pair them. Each 100 will be shown as a separate Room, along with the ARC ULTRA Room. After you add the 100’s to ARC ULTRA as surrounds, they become part of ARC ULTRA’s Room and will no longer be shown separately. At this point, lack of surround becomes a TV configuration issue or lack of surround in the source material.

There are a few ARC ULTRA surround settings that you’ll want to experiment with,

Hey! It sounds like a sync or setup bug between your Arc and the Era 100s. Try removing the surround setup completely in the Sonos app, then power-cycle all speakers (unplug for about a minute). After that, reconnect them starting with the Arc first, then add each Era 100 one by one as surrounds.

If it still shows as “not registered,” it might help to factory reset the Arc as well, not just the Eras. Some users found that fixed the pairing issue after updates.

I fixed it .. just did a power off and on in the arc ultra .. and now it works just fine …! Ty for your help .!!!!Â
