Does Zone Volume Trim for Ones work for anyone?

I have a large open plan house so I use the Zones feature to create 2 virtual speakers “Upstairs” and “Downstairs”. Each zone consists of a combination of Ones, One SLs and a Five. Ironically the Five in the kitchen needs a volume boost compared to the One that is also in it - currently the sound is biased towards the One. The Zones feature has a volume trim feature to compensate for this situation. The trim adjusts the volume from -15dB to +3dB on a per speaker basis. The Five does seem to respond but a 3dB boost is not quite enough. I need to dip the One by a few dB but the trim control has no discernible effect on any of my Ones. Anyone else noticed this before I submit a bug report?

I’m sorry to hear that you’re having issues with Zones.

Just to confirm, the volume trim works for your Five but not your One SLs? I’ve had a look but can’t see anything that would say the One SL’s wouldn’t work, and I haven’t seen anyone else mention it on the community. Can you make a new zone with just your One SLs and test the feature again to see if it works? If it doesn’t, please let me know.

If it does work, try adding them back to the zone your Five is in and testing the feature again. If it fails again after re-adding them, then please submit a diagnostics and reach out to our support team, as they have the necessary tools to look into your Sonos system and see what’s going wrong.

I have 2 zones - Downstairs with a Five and 2 zones. Upstairs with a One and a One SL. 
 

The volume trim works for Downstairs but only in the Five which is the first in the list. There is no change in the Ones with the trim control. If I remove the Five then the volume trim do the Ones still does not work. 
 

Tyhinking it was an issue with Ones I tested upstairs and to my surprise volume trim works for the first One in the list but not the One SL which is second in the list.  If I move the Five to the upstairs Zone then neither One upstairs changes with volume trim just like downstairs. 
 

I can’t see the pattern myself. I will submit diagnostics.
