I try to connect Sonos Play:1 with my router FritzBox 7590. It doesn’t work, although I updated the OS as well as reset the settings of my Sonos. What else can I do?

Hi, we got excellent support from the help desk for about 50 minutes. We went through all the steps of resetting the Sonos box and checking WiFi settings. I think, the trick was to reset the box and reset the Sonos app before starting to reconnect the box with WiFi and the Sonos app again. We have now all our devices back on air. 😁

The same problem over here. I own a Sonos Connect. Since our router has been changed from an older Fritz!box to a Fritz!box 7590. I cannot make a connection between router and Sonos. I even got help form the Sonos helpdesk by phone, for half an our. No rusult. They in the end asked me to change the wifi password and then try again. Did that, and it took half an our to reconnect all the devices in our house, but the Sonos Connect still refuses. Anyone with a solution?

Set it up via Ethernet, then switch it to WiFi.

Fritzbox routers used to be historically tricky with Sonos, but I don’t see them on the “naughty list” any more so maybe they have improved now?
