Cannot remove products from S2 to use back on S1

Was previously using two Sonos Ones with a Gen 1 Sonos 5 happily in a system using the S1 app.

Purchased a Roam and was told I needed to use S2 app which I then installed. Somehow the two Ones were also added to the S2 app and are now showing as Incompatible on S1 meaning I cannot use them there with my Gen 1 Sonos 5.

How can I now remove the two Sonos Ones from S2 to use them back on S1 - there seems to be no option to do so.

Why is this so complicated? I hate the way Sonos have deliberately chosen not to support Gen 1 products on S2 in a bid to get everyone to upgrade.

FYI, the devices that don’t work on S2 systems don’t meet the hardware requirements for S2.
