Added play 1, cant update.

Hi

Have an existing system of 4 play 1's and 1 Sonos one.

Bought a 2nd hand play 1, factory reset it and attempted to join the existing setup.

Added it and it asks to update it and then produces this error.

Have since factory reset it several times, tried using ethernet but no luck.

I generated diagnostics using this code ***********

If it hasn’t been updated in a while, it’s firmware could be too out of date to connect wirelessly.  Try connecting it to your router via an Ethernet cable.    Then try to add/update.  When the update is finished, you can disconnect and deploy the speaker wirelessly.

Does it update even when not joined?

 

I did leave it plugged in overnight without it being joined but will try again.

In that case have already left it for 24 hours after I added it in.
