As far as I know, 2xPlay:1 speakers I've always remain power on not matter what. Of course you don't listen to music or use them all the time. I wonder if these speakers could be put in the standby mode when not in use after a defined period of non-functioning? When someone wants to listen to the music, the app will power them back up. Is this something possible to add?

No, the LED light doesn't symbolize any particular power state, it can also be turned off completely via the room settings.
