Sonos Move keeps turning off

My Sonos Move keeps turning off every time I take it off the charger. It says it’s fully charged but seems to power off every time it leaves the doc.

I’d be grateful for any suggestions on how to resolve.

Do you have Battery Saver turned on in the Sonos app?

Try rebooting the Move by following these steps:

  1. Take Move off of the charging base.
  2. Hold the power button for at least 5 seconds, or until the status light turns off.
  3. Wait 10 seconds.
  4. Press the power button or place Move back onto its charging base.

Unfortunately that hasn’t worked. It looks like the battery is not charging even though the Move works when it is on the charger - as soon as it comes of the charger it stops.  Does it need a new battery?

Possibly. How long have you had the Move and how often do you use it on and off the charger?

Thanks for responding so quickly. I’ve had the Move since the end of 2020. I use it off the charger once a week for a couple of hours but most of the time I use it on the charger.
