Yes, 20V does work with Sonos. I tried it with this USB C module: https://www.ebay.de/itm/254054864113
Problem: there are not many 20V USB C powerbanks around. So I went back to how it was with the Mi Power Bank.

Hi, in my setup it’s not possible to charge the battery. What I just tried: while playing from battery to plug in a USB charger into the powerbank. But it cuts the USB power output going to the speaker.
So only option with my setup would be: wile listening powered by powerbank plug the speaker with it’s power cord to the wall socket, then disconnect the powerbank from the speaker and plug in a USB Charger into the powerbank. If full, unplug USB charger, plug powerbank to speaker, unplug speaker power cord. Everything works without turning the speaker off and interrupting music playback… But you would have two cables going to the wall socket.

Depending on the volume wit the 10.000mAh Mi Powerbank between 4 and 6 hours

i did the work yesterday, i used the booster and the the sonos gets now 24V. I am using the Mi power bank2S and the problem i have i reach only 25% of the Volume.
If i give it a try to increase the Volume the Sonos Play1 makes terrible noises.
Did i do something wrong?

I’m sorry I am not really a specialist. I just tried and it did work..

So I have no problems going to 100% with the Mi Power Bank. I assume you checked if you really have 24V? Did you also check the voltage if the player is running? at 25% or higher?
