Power cables Play1 vs Sonos One
I want to upgrade from Play 1 to Sonos One. For my current Play 1's, I fixed the power cable in the wall wiring to conceal it. Can I use the same power cable with the new Sonos One?

Why not just keep the Play:1s and get an Echo Dot or two? I have to admit I haven't heard a Sonos One, but I have just gone down the Dot route because for me that seemed a better option. There are pros and cons.

+21Yes, it is a standard figure of 8 cable (IEC C7) and plug, although shaped to fit better in the Play 1 and One base.
Thanks and I hope you are right but I spoke to a person through Sonos Chat support and he said it’s not possible to use the power cable from Play 1 to Sonos One. Seemed weird though
